Thailand

Amazing Thailand begins with the people.

Thailand is the most visited country in Southeast Asia. If you love diving, beaches, spiritual temples, tropical islands and elephants, this country will never disappoint.

You’ll find countless things to do in Bangkok, Thailand’s spiritual, cultural, political, commercial, educational and diplomatic center. At the least, the capital city is worth an extended layover, although one day in Bangkok will hardly scratch the surface of what the city has to offer.

Favorite sights include the royal family’s Grand Palace, Chiang Mai and Thailand’s islands and beaches. Three to consider are Phuket, Koh Yao Noi, and Koh Samui, but it’s hard to go wrong with any of them!

Thai food is legendary, with exotic ingredients like fish sauce, galangal, ginger and lemongrass. Many popular dishes are made with red or green curry, and Thailand also has delicious noodle dishes, such as Pad Thai. Thailand also has many cheap street foods, like papaya salad, noodle soups, grilled meats, and a variety of sweets. You won’t have any problem finding many tasty things to try!
